Server kings and server admins may recalculate merit for their server’s players; region admins and emperors may recalculate merit for all servers. During recalculation, the system determines alliance membership based on that day’s clan hostility—if not in HOF, merit is excluded and any points earned as enemy are cleared. If recalculation yields zero merit or enemy-marked days for allied players, verify and correct clan alliance settings for those dates. Recalculation updates daily and total merit immediately, but historical titles and rankings are not refreshed in real time to reduce load; bulk updates later may produce ties.
