Player merits mainly come from battles on servers in War status; see the FAQ for detailed rules. Whether a server enters War status is determined entirely automatically by the system (calculation rules are also in the FAQ). To resolve cases where support forces, after routing the enemy, could not receive their due merits, we allow temporarily switching a Peace server to War, or a War server to Peace. Because this mechanism could be abused, manual toggles must strictly follow these rules: support forces must be confirmed by Long Ge or Fanshou to have arrived on the battlefield and thereby caused the original War status to disappear before any manual adjustment; it is forbidden to go—without alliance-wide coordination—to servers where the enemy is already weak or undefended, which could wrongly change a server from “War” to “Peace,” or create a “War” state on a server that was originally “Peace.”
