This update adds two major features: (1) from this notice forward, site announcements fully support multi-language display, making it easier for members everywhere to keep up with the latest news; (2) a new “Other Merits” system that lets specific player contributions—beyond Escort Support—count toward merits. Access it via “Alliance Management” in the nav bar or a player’s “All Merits Detail” page. During use, enter a player’s name and click “Check” to view their base merit; after selecting an item you can also see the extra merit they can earn for that item. Only users with server-administrator rank or higher can add Other Merits, and they must provide solid reasons and detailed notes. After merits are added, admins must contact Long Ge, nini, or Fanshou for approval. To prevent invalid entries, all new merit additions or deductions take effect only after strict approval by those three managers; approved merits become effective at 04:00 the same day. Scoring rules: every player has a base merit from their combat-power ranking—the higher the rank, the higher the base. If an Escort member fights on a War server, merit = base × 4; on a Fierce-Battle server, merit = base × 8. Other merits are similarly calculated by multiplying the base merit by the relevant coefficient. In this update, two alliance members who provided translation support in war received merits—one totaling 400, the other 480—recorded in multiple entries due to per-entry limits. If you need a merit item not in the list, contact Long Ge. Please use existing standard items; generic ones like “Add Points” or “Deduct Points” are usually not approved. We also plan to finish the May city-war medals, especially TED’s iconic Emperor victory medal; June medals are coming soon. Next, we’ll add an evaluation system to assess combat contributions from members who support wars. The Other Merits feature is now live—enter a player’s name and click “Check” to view their base merit and potential extra points for each item.
